DEEDS Set Tentative Release Date For "Blown"

DEEDS (formerly DIRTY DEEDS) bassist Tony Newton, who has recently relocated to Los Angeles, California from his native England, has posted the following update via the group's official web site:

"The Japanese release date [for our third full-length album, entitled Blown] is August 28th. We will be touring there just before this to promote the album. No definite date for UK release yet but it will be around this time. This time I want to make sure everything is done as right as possible. I know the rock scene is difficult now, [and] that's why things have to be done right.

"I read on the Bulletin Board that there was concern that I am the only band member [who has relocated to Los Angeles]. Well, it will in fact make things easier because this is where everything happens. We will have more chance of getting on a good Euro support tour from this end. After all what UK bands are there for us to tour with? Plus I can work the US for us and get the rest of the band out to tour here. We have already had offers for tours here but they weren't right for us with glam bands!!"

No US release date has yet been announced for Blown, which was produced by IRON MAIDEN bassist/mainman Steve Harris.
